When the map view loads, the initial zoom level is set to show all listings.

For example, if your marketplace only contains listings in a small area, the default zoom will show that area. But if your marketplace has listings from all around a continent, the zoom will be set to show the whole continent.

When the map view loads, the initial zoom level is set to show the correct searched area automatically.
The search knows whether you tried to search for a street name or a city and correctly adjust the map zoom level.

If users look at the map view after a search or when using filters, only the listings fitting the criteria will be shown, and the initial zoom level will be adjusted to show all the filtered listings.

For performance reasons, especially on mobile, the map view displays up to 2000 listings maximum. The 2000 most recent listings are visible.
