Do Sharetribe marketplaces have sitemap.xml files?

Yes, Sharetribe does generate a sitemap file for your marketplace. This feature is available for all plans.
Note that private marketplaces don't generate a sitemap file.

The sitemap is a compressed version and is available at https://www.example.com/sitemap.xml.gz or https://example.sharetribe.com/sitemap.xml.gz.

You can find a direct link to it in your Admin panel's "SEO / Sitemap & Robots" page.

What does the sitemap.xml.gz file contain?

This compressed sitemap references up to the 500 most recent listings in your marketplace.

The sitemap file format is valid and works perfectly with all search engines (such as Google) bots.

What do I need to do to enable it?

You don't have to do anything: search engine robots should find it automatically as it is referenced in your automatic robots.txt file. However, you could go the extra mile and declare it in Google Search Console. You can learn more in this article.
